I focus on the use of body in performance art coupled with the exploration of the use of video and photography not just as a form of documentation but also an integral part of the creation process.
My work mainly revolves around the concept of human endurance in performance art, with its heightened emphasis on the presence and the process. There is concentration on the human body, as a mechanism and an artefact: an object to be observed, investigated and experimented on as a means of communication and a way of expression tied with the dynamics of interactions with others.
I’m also working on personal projects and initiatives that strengthens community interaction and involvement through performance art, events, and discussions, striving to promote art that is non-exclusive and more accessible to people.
